The Department of Energy, Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Desert Southwest (DSW) Region, issues this Request for Quote (RFQ) for the following item (or equal to), listed in attachement 1. Procurement for a specific brand name, but you may respond with equivalent description. The or equivalent purchase description must include, in addition to the brand name, a general description of the salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics of the brand name item that an equal item must meet to be acceptable for an award. Offerors must provide equipment specifications with an/or equivalent offer to be determined responsive. All offerors must include product specification (s) and brochure/photo(s) with offer. Used, like new or refurbished item(s) will not be accepted. All item(s) quoted must be new and meet or exceed the requirements in order to be considered for award. This acquisition is set-aside for small business per FAR Part 19; the applicable NAICS is 335999. 3. If you wish to compete for this acquisition, provide a firm-fixed price quote, delivery time, specification sheet, Federal TAX ID Number and DUNS number on your quote. Please include shipping costs FOB Destination 85228. This award will be made to the Lowest Priced Technically Acceptable (LPTA) offer that conforms to product specification. Specification detail must be provided with all quotes to determine acceptability. The Contracting Officer is not responsible for locating or obtaining any information not identified in the quote. If you wish to quote the attached items, please quote all items, as a contract will be awarded to only one vendor. The Government reserves the right to make no award resulting from this RFQ. If a change occurs in this requirement, only those offerors that respond to this announcement within the required time frame will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award. Closing date is Thursday, June 1, 2023, 4pm (ET). Quotes must be valid for 60 days. 4. Preferred Lead Time/Delivery - no later than 60 days AT RECEIPT OF ORDER (ARO) 5.
