This area of work is the IT Data Centre, which has two offices that are accessed (only) by entering the data room and through doors to the 2 small offices. As this would create a problem for the Clean Agent Fire Suppression system, in that in the event of an emergency, the occupants can’t exit into the corridor without entering the data room where the clean agent has been discharged, we need to remove those doors and seal up the wall. New doors to the corridor will be required in openings previously used for doors and since infilled with glazing. For photos of the infilled doors and the data room space see Appendix-Photographs. Work is to commence as soon as possible upon award, and is to be completed no later than August 31st, 2023.
