Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Williamsburg, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

A. Provide all management, supervision, labor, material, equipment, consumables, and supplies required to provide asphalt repairs. The Work under this Project consists of 1. The James City County (JCC) Warhill Sports Complex Basketball Court Access Road located at 5700 Warhill Trail, Williamsburg, VA 23185 (See Attachment B). The Contractor shall coordinate with the Countys Capital Projects Coordinator to develop a schedule for this work. 2. Contractor to mill asphalt in area shown on exhibit (Approximately 1713 SY). All paving joints will be sawcut. 3. Contractor to undercut 50 x 6 edge of pavement area (shown on exhibit) with unsuitable base. Place and compact 12 of 21A stone in undercut area. Dispose of all material spoils 4. Contractor to place 2 of SM 9.5A asphalt in milled areas. 5. Replace speed bump in existing location. Speed bump to be painted yellow. 6. See attached site plan for areas to be undercut, milled and overlaid. 7. Contractor to restore all pavement markings. 8. The access road must remain open and accessible during the work. 9. All work and materials are to comply with the most recent edition of the HRPDC. 10. Contractor will coordinate all work schedules with the Capital Projects Coordinator. Work will be scheduled to provide minimal impact to the publics use of the facility. 11. Contractor to provide traffic control measures, as necessary. The purpose and intent of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to solicit sealed bids from a qualified contractor to provide Asphalt Pavement Repairs, at the James City County's Warhill Sports Complex (WSC) Basketball Court Access Road.
