Quote for a city-wide sidewalk and sign assessment. Bidder is base quote unpon 259 miles of sidewalk. Work will include the following: Sidewalk/Signs Develop shapefile for sidewalks using aerial maps prior to field work Provide a field review of public sidewalks within the City Include point files related to obstructions and sidewalks faults Map ADA ramps and Detectable Warning Surface (this is inventory only, not ADA compliance measurements) Provide a report that recommends budgeting for sidewalk improvements. This would be based on sidewalk faults and condition. It is recommended that the City look at developing an ADA transition plan which would be separate from this. While assessing sidewalks inventory signs that are within the park strips Riverton City is a governmental entity under the Governmental Immunity Act and waives no defenses, limits of liability or other rights.
