Failure to submit the required first-tier subcontractors list within the required two hours of the date and time for receipt of bids will disqualify the bidder from further consideration. The work contemplated consists of replacing approximately 1,088 linear feet of existing eight-inch (8") diameter OD water lines with approximately 1,095 linear feet of eight-inch (8") DI water lines and approximately 295 linear feet of existing four-inch (4") OD water lines with 365 linear feet of six-inch (6") diameter DI water lines, appurtenances, and related improvements on NE 146th Avenue and NE Everett Street according to the Plans and Specifications. Only domestic pipe and fittings will be accepted, unless availability on specific items dictates that import items be supplied. Import items must be approved by Rockwood Water Peoples Utility District. Proposers must provide contact name, company name, contact information (i.e., mailing address, email address, and phone number) to be placed on the Vendors List to receive a link and receive notifications regarding addenda. Addenda are part of the specification documents and will be posted to the SharePoint site. Addenda notifications will be emailed by the District to the Vendors List as a convenience only; it is the responsibility of each Proposer to ensure the Proposer has received a copy of all addenda that have been issued and posted to the SharePoint site. Each bid form shall include specific acknowledgment, in the space provided, of receipt of all addenda issued by the Owner during the bidding period. Failure to so acknowledge may result in the bid being rejected as not responsive. The contract is for public work. Prevailing Wage Rates will apply for this Project. Bidders shall comply with the requirements of those statutes. Rockwood Water People's Utility District reserves the right to reject all bids not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements and to reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding of the agency that it is in the public interest to do so. Bidders are responsible for all of their costs incurred in preparing and submitting a bid. Contractors must be qualified by the State of Oregon Construction Contractors Board, hold all other necessary licenses, and be qualified in accordance with the applicable portions of ORS 279C to enter into a contract with the Owner for public work in Oregon. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
