Site work and paving for a civil project in Joliette, Quebec. Design plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Project 154190370 - Upgrades of the road 158 between Saint-Alexis and Joliette. The scope of work consists of a redevelopment of this portion of Route 158 that will have four lanes with a physical separator between road 343 in Saint-Paul and Saint-Pierre Street à Joliette. TIMELINE: Project design is ongoing. Provincial authorities have included this project in the list of major infrastructure projects managed by the Québec treasury board under the number 344. The Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility is reviewing the scope, cost and schedules of the project development in order to make changes to this project and address it at a territorial intervention level. According to the preliminary estimation construction start is not anticipated before 2027.
