The Project as a whole generally consists of improvements to SHAWSA's Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) and includes: new blowers, air piping, new splitter box, adding a third clarifier, new UV disinfection system, demolition of the existing chlorine contact chamber and disinfection building, and related pump stations, electrical and control systems, and all related work to make a functional system. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond by a recognized surety in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the Bidder's maximum Bid price in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
