Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, equipment, supervision, testing, inspection and whatever else is necessary, whether described or not, in order to remove and reconstruct a raised crosswalk with color and imprinted decorative concrete. The raised crosswalk will span sidewalk to sidewalk with new bump-outs on the north and south curb lines, shortening the crosswalk length to 30-feet. The sidewalk bump-outs shall be constructed using block pavers, matching the existing color, pattern, and configuration, to ensure a smooth transition. Due to the change in the existing drainage curb line, additional drainage structures will be required, with connection to the existing. The colored, stamped concrete crosswalk shall be constructed with 9-inch reinforced concrete, with adjacent asphalt roadway restoration to the proposed grading. All ramps, crosswalk, and pedestrian features shall meet ADA standards, as depicted on the contract documents. The adjacent areas shall be restored in-kind, unless otherwise noted. *This project has been updated for historical data and reference purposes.
