Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Fairport, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The project consists of construction of site improvements to the Town of Perinton's Perinton Park located at 99 OConnor Road, next to the NYS Erie Canal. Site improvements are being completed in conjunction with the development of a Skatepark, which will be constructed simultaneously with the site improvements, but under a separate construction contract. The site improvement contract includes completion of select site demolition work, including storm sewer removals, asphalt sidewalk removals, selective sawing and concrete sidewalk removals, sign removals, and tree removals, the installation and maintenance of site erosion and sediment control measures, as required by the project Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan, site electrical construction, including site lighting, site excavation and fill, and grading, site storm water drainage and management facility construction, site sanitary sewer improvements, the installation of concrete and granite curbing, and concrete sidewalks, the installation of subbase materials, asphalt, and pavement striping for a new parking lot, the installation of signage, park benches, and a bicycle rack, the installation of a dumpster pad and enclosures, the installation of an artificial turf area within the skatepark, the installation of foundation and shade structure at the skatepark, and the completion of turf restoration and landscape improvements. This is a federal-aid contract subject to the approval of the U.S Treasury Department. There is a 5% DBE goal that has been established for this contract (as a percentage of the total contract bid amount). There are no M/WBE requirements or preferences contained in this contract. EEO goals in accordance with FHWA 1273 apply and have been established as follows: Minority - 5.3% and Female - 6.9%. Disadvantaged Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 5%
