Berkeley County School District (BCSD) is the fourth largest school district in the State of South Carolina. The District covers a geographic area of 1,229 square miles. It is one ofthe fastest growing counties in the state, in terms ofpopulation, and is located just north ofCharleston, South Carolina. BCSD currently serves a student population of over 39,000 students ranging from pre-school to high school. The District currently operates 48 schools (29 elementary/intermediate schools, 11 middle schools, 8 high schools). In addition to these schools, the District operates other specialized learning centers and has multiple administrative and support facilities located throughout Berkeley County. In addition, one new K-8 construction school will open in the fall of 2023 and construction school ofanother school within 3 years. The District has identified an immediate need of six (6) mobile units pursuant to this solicitation.
