Site work for a civil project in Strasbourg, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Hamlet of Mohrs Beach (Hamlet) Utilizes a Non-potable Distributed Water System. This System Provides Water to Properties as Part of the Original Hamlet. As the System Has Aged, It Has Become More Prone to Failure. The System Is Seasonal in That Distribution of Water Through the System Starts in the Spring (As Frost Leaves the Ground)and is shut down in the fall (typically around Thanksgiving). The Hamlet is interested in updating the primary distribution line from the pump house into the Hamlet. Refer to Section G for additional background information. 1. The main line is three (3) inches in diameter and approximately fifteen hundred (1500) feet in length. There are junctions along the line that would need to be included in order to distribute water to other areas within the Hamlet. 2. The main line is approximately one (1) foot (12 inches) below ground. 3. Connections or valves to existing lines must follow standards in accordance with the Water Security Agency (WSA). 4. The primary line will connect to an existing shut off valve that manages distribution of water through the Hamlet. 5. The project must be completed with minimal disruption to the community.
