THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) ONLY. No solicitation is available at this time. This RFI is released for the purpose of conducting market research only. This announcement shall NOT be construed as a commitment by Brookhaven Science Associates LLC (BSA) to award a Subcontract. Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) reserves the right to use any and all information submitted by, or obtained from, an interested party in any manner BNL determines is appropriate, including, but not limited to, the creation of a competitive solicitation. An interested party shall NOT include any business confidential and/or proprietary information in its response, which will only be used internally for feasibility and market research and not shared with any external sources. BNL will NOT pay for any information that is provided in response to this announcement nor will it compensate any respondents for the development of such information. The purpose of this RFI is to gain market input to support our market research and obtain capabilities from potential Subcontractors. Background: BNL is a Department of Energy (DOE) National Laboratory multidisciplinary research facility, located on Long Island, New York. Need: BNL requests repair of both the internal leak and external leak that have developed in the first stage heat exchanger located within the CTI-4000 helium refrigerator. See attached Statement of Work (SOW) for additional information. Period of Performance: BNL request immediate repair for this equipment. Response Requirement: All interested parties submit an electronic response. They shall be no less than 11-point font, 10 pages or less, and 20 Megabytes or less in PDF format. 1.
