**As of July 10, 2023, Project has been awarded. Award amount is $5,031,168.35** The scope of Work contemplated for the above-named Project includes reconstruction of the roadway, replacement of concrete curb and sidewalk, ADA upgrades, and replacement of drainage and sanitary sewer infrastructure on Monroe Avenue, Comstock Street, and Eighth Avenue, as well as all other Work of any type or description necessary for completion of the Project Bid Packets must be accompanied by a Statement of Consent of Surety from a surety company holding a Certificate of Authorization to do business in the State of New Jersey and either a Bid Bond or a Certified Check drawn to the order of the "City of Asbury Park" for not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid price amount, except that the check shall not exceed $20,000.00. The successful Bidder is hereby notified that a Performance and Payment Bond for the full amount of this Project is required The City of Asbury Park intends to award this Project to the lowest Bidder whose Bid Packet is responsive and complies with its requirements for the Project, provided that in the judgment of the City of Asbury Park is reasonable, within available funds and in the interest of the City of Asbury Park. The City of Asbury Park reserves the right to reject any and all Bid Packets to the extent permitted by law
