Bidding Process: Hall County, GA Fire Rescue Department is seeking Construction Services for a turnkey project to repair the Fire Training Burn Building. This will include inspections of structural components, replacement of structural components to original specifications, and a timeline to complete the project. Firms must submit five (5) copies of their proposal; one (1) of which must be marked as "Original", four (4) marked as "Copy" and one (1) electronic USB drive. We also request proposals be sent in a sealed envelope or a box clearly marked with "IFB #060-43 for "Fire Training Burn Building Repair." General Qualifications: Bidders must be in the regular business of providing services involved with construction and subject matter experts in burn buildings. This will be a turnkey project. Bid Retention: Bidders may not withdraw their bid after the bid opening. Bids must be valid for one-hundred and twenty calendar days (120). The County reserves the right to retain all bids submitted and use any idea(s) in a bid regardless of award. The County shall have the right to waive any informality or irregularity of immaterial deviation in any bid received. All forms and documents entitled 'Mandatory' must be completed and returned with the bid. All bid responses become the property of Hall County and will not be returned. Bonds: Bonds will be required for this project. They must be issued before work may begin. Include a letter of bond ability from your company's Performance and Payment Bond ability equal to 100% each (total of 200%) of the bid/contract award amount. Award Process: The County reserves the option to reject any or all bids, in whole or part, or to select any bidder to complete the described Work. The County will award the project to one (1) company to perform all of the work on one (1) contract based on the best value to the County from a responsible and responsive bidder.
