Renovation of a water / sewer project in Watertown, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
AS of September 28, 2023, the project has been awarded, however, a timeline for construction has not been confirmed. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check or bid bond (in the required form) for ten percent (10%) of the bid total. See Instructions to Bidders posted on the PennBid website for additional details on how to submit. The work generally includes replacing an existing 3,500 gal. pressure tank and installing new water storage tanks, a booster pump system, well pump, liquid sodium hydroxide and sodium hypochlorite feed systems, chlorine contact tanks, in line nitrate and chlorine residual monitoring, and a customized system programmable logic controller. Questions shall be submitted via the "Questions" feature within PennBid. Bidders are advised that prevailing wage rates and record-keeping procedures established by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry shall apply and that minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents shall be paid on the project. Solanco School District hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any and all bids and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects or irregularities in any bid at its sole discretion.
