The project includes, but is not limited to, the installation of approximately 130 Lineal Feet of 24" PS115, ASTM F679 sanitary sewer pipe; four (4) sanitary manholes, wyes, laterals, and cleanouts; grouting and abandonment of existing sewers; clearing and grubbing; traffic control; resident notification; erosion and sedimentation control measures; existing utility protection; cistern removal; and associated site restoration, complete in place. Proposals shall be made to Crafton Borough, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and shall remain firm for a period of sixty (60) days. No Bidder may withdraw his Proposal during the sixty (60) day period without forfeiting his Bid guarantee. Performance, Maintenance, and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, along with Public Liability and Property Damage Certificates of Insurance in the amounts specified, as well as Certificates of Workman's Compensation must be filed with the executed Agreement upon acceptance of the Proposal from the successful Bidder. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
