Pueblo County will award the contract to a company based on the evaluation criteria contained in the
request for proposal.

more than one provider as it deems will best serve its interests. The Pueblo County Detention Center (PCDC) will consist of two design and bid packages: (1)
an early Site Preparation and Foundations package, and (2) the Pueblo County Detention
Center package.
1. Site Preparation & Foundation Project: The Site Preparation & Foundations Project is a "make ready" for the PCDC project. The future
site of the PCDC is currently an unimproved parcel of vacant land. The project will provide
grading, cut and fill, foundations and utilities to the site of the PCDC, support building and the
pad of the future housing building.
2. Pueblo County Detention Center Project - Scope of Work: The PCDC facility will be approximately 188,000 gross square feet and will consist of a twolevel housing building with a support building and construction of landscape, hardscape and
parking. The construction will generally consist of drilled piers, poured concrete grade beams,
and precast structural construction.
Basic Scope of Work for Material Testing/Observation/Inspection Services
The Scope of Work presented below is intended to provide a basis for a request for
proposal. The proposing testing/inspection firms are expected to propose any modifications
specifically required for the project based on their professional judgment and include
them in the proposals.
