Site work for a water / sewer project in Lincoln Park, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

LINCOLN PARK PUBLIC SCHOOLS will accept sealed bids for the CARR WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT as set forth in this invitation. Enclosed are general conditions, specifications and other information necessary to respond to this request. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond issued by a qualified surety in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total sum of the bid as a guarantee of bidder's good faith. In the event a certified check is submitted, it shall be made payable to "Lincoln Park Public Schools". A successful bidder whose total bid equals or exceeds $50,000 will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bond issued by a qualified surety in the amount of 100% of the bid price within ten (10) days after notice of the award. The performance bond must guarantee the faithful performance of all provisions within the Invitation to Bid based on the owner's satisfactory and agreed upon time frame. The payment bond must guarantee the payment and protection of claimants supplying labor and/or materials to the principal contractor or his subcontractors in the prosecution of the work provided for in the contract. The Board reserves the right to request increased limits and coverage to protect the interests of LINCOLN PARK PUBLIC SCHOOLS. The bidder shall not commence work under the contract until it has obtained and presented all insurance required; nor shall the bidder allow any subcontractor to commence work until all similar insurance required of the subcontractor has been obtained and presented. LINCOLN PARK PUBLIC SCHOOLS will accept sealed bids for the CARR WATER MAIN REPLACEMENT as set forth in this invitation. Enclosed are general conditions, The successful bidder agrees, at its sole cost and expense, to purchase and maintain the insurance coverage in the minimum amounts indicated on the Minimum Certificate of Insurance Requirements sheet included in the Invitation for the entire duration of the contract from a company or companies licensed to do business in the State of Michigan that will name and protect both LINCOLN PARK PUBLIC SCHOOLS and the contractor from claims which may arise out of or as a result of the bidder's operations under the contract, whether such operations be by it or by any subcontractor, or by anyone directly or indirectly employed by and of them, or by anyone whose acts of them may be liable.. and other information necessary to respond to this request. All work shown on the plan set and within the specifications including all restoration must be completed no later than July 31, 2023.
