Nephi City is requesting Statements of Qualification (SOQ) from professional engineering consulting firms to provide subdivision design and consulting services. Nephi City (City) has entered into a public/private partnership to develop several parcels of land on the south end of the city called Crimson Flats. This development is expected to be mainly retail/commercial in nature and the necessary infrastructure (roads, utilities, curb/gutter, sidewalk, etc.) needs to be designed in preparation for a submission to the citys Development Review Committee (DRC). The selected engineer will shepherd the submission through the DRC review process until it is approved by the City. A concept of the proposed development is attached to this Request for Qualifications (RFQ). Firms will be notified in writing of any substantive changes to the SOQ requirements. Also incorporate into plans, existing plans for a stormwater facility along the west side of the development.
Ensure the designed and engineered plans meet the citys code for subdivision development.
Submit the engineered plans to the City for review by the DRC committee.
Make any necessary changes to the engineering drawings to comply with city code as it is reviewed by the DRC.
Provide oversight and consulting services to the subdivision as infrastructure is being installed for the proposed Crimson Flats development.
Provide an estimated cost of the infrastructure improvements. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
