Renovation of a military facility in Eglin, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
Statement of work for B422 vault door replacement The door between the building 422 lobby and room 102 is an older oversized metal door that is not ICD 705 compliant. The goal is to replace this door with an ICD 705 compliant door making the room behind the door usable vault space. Room 102 is ICD compliant except for this door. Existing door and frame will need to be removed. Any alarm system from the existing door and high security locks should be removed and returned to customer before door is disposed of. Coordination with Advantor/Allied Universal will be required for this. New STC50 48" door with frame will need to be installed with the hinges and opening direction the same as removed door. Company installing door must be ICD-705 certified. Door requirements include having a minimum 1 3/4 inch thickness, the face steel must be minimum 18-guage, and reinforcements must be included or added to the hinges, automatic-non-hold door closer, and lock areas to prevent premature failure or intrusion. If existing sheetrock is damaged or removed during door removal, the room 102 side of the door must be refinished with 2 layers of 5/8 sheetrock. The first layer must have all joints filled, taped and inspected by security before the second layer is installed. The lobby side must have 1 layer of 5/8 sheetrock. Security must approve all phases of the operation. Sheetrock and door will be painted to match after completion by user. Question Deadline 06/09/2023 at 8:00 AM CT
