The Arizona State Hospital is looking to procure multiple security x-ray scanner systems for the Hospital through a lease agreement that is inclusive of repair and maintenance services. This is a "Brand Name or Equivalent" Specification as set forth under A.R.S 41-2561, A.A.C., Section R2-7-403. ADHS has determined that the following make/model of Safeagle Model, HP-SE3040C is equipped to conform to this Specification and to perform effectively in the planned applications. Other make/models with equal performance, and conformance to the Specification, will be considered. Documentation of equivalency must be provided with the Bid submitted; and If a brand name or equivalent Specification is used, instructions that the use of a brand name is for the purpose of describing the standard of quality, performance, and characteristics desired and is not intended to limit or restrict competition. The solicitation shall state the products substantially equivalent to the brands designated quality for consideration. No Pre-Bid Conference will be held for this solicitation. All questions related to the solicitation should be submitted using the Discussion Forum tab no later than five (5) calendar days before the bid due date. Any exceptions to ANY Terms and Conditions may negatively affect the State's evaluation based on the stated criteria or result in the rejection of the Offer.
