Demolition and site work for a municipal facility in Cary, Illinois. Completed plans call for the demolition of a municipal facility; municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.
The Village of Cary, McHenry County, Illinois (hereafter Village) is issuing this Request for Proposals ("RFP") for the demolition of an abandoned water tower structure. Under this contract, the selected contractor will also perform all site restoration at the demolition site and areas used to access the site. The Village owns tow parcels of land at 310 High Road. The primary use of this land is to provide potable water storage via an elevated water storage tank (water tower). This area also contains an abandoned water tower structure shown below. The abandoned structure is approximately a 30-foot-tall concrete, circular, former water storage facility. It is the intention of the Village to demolish this abandoned structure and restore the area with grass.
