It is the intent of the City of Alexandria to secure pricing for landscape maintenance services for 9 th Street Streetscape, Alexandria, LA. The work shall consist of furnishing all labor, materials, supplies, equipment and supervision necessary to provide landscape maintenance services as stated in the specifications. Prices shall remain in effect for a period of twelve (12) months from bid award date. Contingent upon the availability of funds, and the ability of the Contractor to honor the prices, the City reserves the right to renew the existing contract for an additional twelve (12) month period. All bid prices shall include any and all freight charges. Proposals will be evaluated by adding the base year price to the renewal year price to determine the best overall price to the City. However, only the base year will be awarded initially.
