The City of Kennerreservestherighttoacceptorrejectanyandallbids, inwholeorin part, andwaiveinformalities. However, the provisions and requirements of theLouisiana Public Bid law, thosestated in the advertisementfor bids, those providedin the bid form and written specificationsshall not be consideredas informalities and shall notbe waivedbythe City of Kenner. TheCity of Kennerwill acceptoneprice for eachitem unless otherwise indicated. Two or moreprices for one item will result in bidrejection. Failure to bid on an item will also result in rejection of the bid. Where brand names and stock numbers are specified, it is for the purpose of establishing certain minimum standards of quality. Bids may be submitted for products of equal quality provided brand names and stock numbers are specified. Complete product data of equal products may be required prior to award. All materialsand/or productsmust benewand of current manufacturer, unless otherwise stated. Any product or service bid shall conform to all applicable federal and state laws and regulations, and thespecifications contained in the solicitation. Preference is hereby giventomaterials,supplies and provisions produced, manufactured or grownin Louisiana, quality being equal to articles offered bycompetitors outside the state. Vendormustrequestthis preference (LSA- R. S. 38:2251- 2261). Questions on this bid are to be emailed to Fincontracts@kenner.la.us no later than five (5) working days prior to bid opening.
