Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Pensacola, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 5,843-square-foot, two-story above grade library; for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work includes an existing two-story building of approximately 3,190 square feet on the ground floor and 2,653 square feet on the second floor and a new parking lot for 14 cars. Sitework includes stormwater, pavement, and landscaping improvements. Building renovations include structural repair and modification, the installation of a new elevator and two new exit stairs, and a new metal roof system including insulation. The masonry walls will be repaired and painted, and new windows and doors will be installed. A new main electrical system and all new electrical distribution will be included as well as all new mechanical systems. Four new restrooms will be installed, and new partitions will allow for a library, a café, some storage areas, a classroom, a small conference room, and other support spaces. Question Submission Deadline October 2, 2023, 2:00pm All questions or inquiries must be received no later than the last day for questions stated in the solicitation & Legal Notice The work included in this agreement shall be substantially completed within Three Hundred (300) consecutive calendar days from the date of the written Notice to Proceed. The bidder has an additional Thirty (30) consecutive calendar days from the date of substantial completion for a total number of Three Hundred Thirty (330) consecutive calendar days to Final Completion. The offeror shall at any time of Bid submission meet the license, certification, registration and any other requirements of the State, County, City and/or any other agency of authority with jurisdiction in such matters as necessary to perform the contractual services requested in this solicitation. The County reserves the right to waive informalities in bids to reject any or all bids with or without cause and accept the bid that in its judgment is in the best interest of the County.
