Major elements of work include the definable features listed below. DEFINABLE FEATURES OF WORK: Work required shall include the following definable features. Exercise tank farm valves; Demolish and remove existing out-of-service level Tank Level Indicators (TLI); Recertification of Tank RVs; General Pump Power and Vibration Checks; Tank Level Measurements (Ultrasonic and Manual), Inspection, and Calibration; Replacement of Pressure gauges; Replacement of Tank Leak Detection Port Ball Valves; and, Leak testing and Inspection of existing Subservice Piping and two (2) Underground Drain Valves. Period of performance is 120 Days after receipt of Notice to Proceed for the base work. Liquidated Damages are applicable. This solicitation is issued as a Request For Quote (RFQ). Summary of Work 1.1 SYNOPSIS: The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, tools, equipment, supplies, testing, and supervision necessary to complete all work described in this Statement of work (SOW) for the Bldg 77H tank farm, which is located in the southwest courtyard of Bldg 77H at the Philadelphia Naval Business Center (PNBC), Philadelphia, PA 19112. In general, the work includes and involves performing general maintenance and repairs in the 77H Tank farm. Major elements of work include the definable features listed in SOW Paragraph 1.2 below. Work generally shall be scheduled during normal business hours, as defined in SOW Section 1.14, with the exception of any outages affecting utility or building systems. Details on working hours are provided in SOW Paragraph 1.14.
