Renovation of a municipal facility in Killingworth, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The scope of work shall include the following: 1. MODULAR ROOF REPLACEMENT: Complete removal and replacement of the existing roof on the Town Hall modular section (see attachment). Shall include new substrate insulation material. Roof shall be properly pitched for proper drainage to roof scupper or gutters. Roof shall include proper flashing and curbing. In addition, walking pads shall be provided to and around the rooftop equipment for roof protection while servicing equipment. 2. MAIN BUILDING ROOF REPAIR: Roof repairs (two locations - See attached) where roof meets the vertical wall (leaks below in the vault and outside tax collector window). Roofing material is to be completely removed to determine the extent of roof sheeting damage. Repair or replace sheeting as necessary. In addition, siding on vertical face is also to be removed in order to properly flash. Snow & Ice (or equivalent) shall be placed on exposed roof and wrapped to vertical a minimum of 18" and properly coordinated with flashing underlayment and roofing. Siding affected is to be replaced nd painted as needed to match existing. The Town of Killingworth reserves the rights to amend or terminate this Request for Proposals, accept all or any part of a proposal, reject all proposals, waive any informalities or non-material deficiencies in a proposal, and award the proposal to the proposer that, in the Towns judgment, will be in the Towns best interests.
