Renovation of an educational facility in Bristol, Connecticut. Working plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of 10/23/2023 - All bids have been rejected. Project on hold. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of 5 % of the bidders base bid amount, in the form of a Bid Bond made payable to the City of Bristol. The awarded contractor will be required to secure a Performance Bond and a Labor and Materials Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract award, provided by a surety licensed to do business in the State of Connecticut. The requirements for prevailing wage rates as outlined within C.G.S. 31-53 are to apply to the resultant contract award. The City of Bristol is accepting bids to install mechanical improvements at Chippens Hill Middle School. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Heating, ventilation and air conditioning upgrades to the existing facility and other Work indicated in the Contract Documents.
