The Board of Trustees of the Gulfport School District will receive sealed bids for the purchase of that certain real property known as the old 28th Street Elementary School Property, more particularly described as the following described property situated in the City of Gulfport, Harrison County, First Judicial District, Mississippi: That certain parcel of land situated in the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 33, Township 7 South, Range 11 West, in the City of Gulfport, Harrison County Mississippi, and being more particularly describes as commencing at a concrete monument which is the southwest corner of the said Section 33, and running thence North 660 feet, thence running North 89 59' East 30 feet for a point of beginning; and from said point of beginning, running thence North 89 59' East a distance of 673 feet to a point in the North line of Meadow Park Addition; thence running North 644.6 feet to the North line of the Southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 33 as established by a survey of H.A. Campbell on March 15, 1957; thence running North 89 34' West 673 feet to an iron pipe set by said Campbell survey; thence running South 650 feet to the point of beginning; said property being bounded on the West by a public road connecting with 28th Street in the City of Gulfport, on the North by the North line of the southwest Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of said Section 33, on the East by Lands now or formerly of E.E. Morgan, and on the South by lands now or formerly of E.E. Morgan and the North line of Meadow Park Addition; containing ten acres. Physical address: 2810 34th Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39501. The said 28th Street Elementary School property will be sold and conveyed by the Gulfport School District in accordance with the provision of Miss. Code Ann. Sections 37-7-451 through 37-7-457. The Gulfport School District shall reserve all royalty interest in all oil, gas and minerals in, on or under said land. The 28th Street School District property shall be sold to the highest bidder for cash, but the Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities.
