The Project includes the following Work: Wastewater pump station and water distribution improvements and related items Bids are requested for the following Contract: WATER AND SEWER IMPROVEMENTS MCWI. The Project has an expected duration of 150 days. Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found at the following designated website Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. Prospective Bidders are urged to register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the designated website. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated website. Each Bidder shall have a Certificate of Responsibility to bid on contracts for public projects in which the bid price exceeds $50,000.00 and for private projects in which the bid price exceeds $100,000.00 as required by the laws of the State of Mississippi. Each Bidder shall show on the outside of the envelope containing his bid: his current certificate of responsibility number and expiration date or if applicable, a statement certifying that the bid enclosed does not exceed $50,000.00 for a public project or $100,000.00 for a private project. Failure to show these items on the outside of the envelope containing the bid will result in the bid being returned to Bidder unopened. No Bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of sixty (60) days after date of actual bid opening, without Owner's consent. Funding for the project is through a Mississippi Municipal and County Water Infrastructure Grant, MDEQ Agreement No. 526- 1-DW-5.15. Contractor shall conform to the grant requirement. The Town of Edward, Mississippi reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received, to waive any informalities in the bids received, and to accept any proposal which is deemed most favorable to the Town of Edwards, Mississippi. Engineer on its own initiative may issue Addenda to clarify, correct, supplement, or change the Bidding Documents.
