This is a service / maintenance or supply contract in Saint Louis, Missouri. Contact the soliciting agency for additional information.

The existing Airfield Maintenance Facility is the end of its useful service life and functional use, is in conflict with proposed projects to remediate nonstandard Taxiway T and build a new West Deicing Pad, and experiences occasional flooding resulting in damage to buildings and equipment. The current facility does not contain adequate structures to cover all snow removal equipment and maintenance vehicles from the elements resulting in deterioration of equipment and a safety issue for Airport employees during harsh weather conditions. The Airport Layout Plan (ALP) identified 19-acres immediately northwest of the existing campus for relocation. The selected site offers space needed to house modern airport equipment, is outside the planned relocation area for Taxiway T and West Deicing Pad, and is at a higher elevation eliminating existing flooding issues. The new AFM/SRE campus must include buildings to store all Airport Certification Manual (ACM) required snow removal equipment and the Auto Shop must be sized to work on multiple pieces of ACM required equipment simultaneously, indoors. The ALP recommended size requirements for a new AFM/SRE is 19 acres, with a total building space of approximately 258,000 sq. ft., estimated at $85M in total costs (construction, professional services, environmental evaluations, contingencies, escalation). The selected consultant will use this information along with other resources to plan and design a new AFM/SRE to meet the current and future needs to the Airport. Per the Consultant Selection Process listed below, the best qualified firms will be invited to make a presentation. The Airport intends to negotiate a price with the selected consultant to provide design services for the new Airfield Maintenance and Snow Removal Equipment Facility. Existing Airfield Maintenance Campus Facilities The AFM/SRE campus is located at the corner of St Andrews Lane and Navaid Road, situated west of Runway 6-24 and between runway ends 12R and 29. The current AFM/SRE campus is approximately 16 acres with a total building space of approximately 134,000 sq. ft. and consisting of (10) buildings.
