Saving Project...

Renovation of a transportation facility in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.

The City is requesting Contractors to provide pricing for the following: Supply and Installation of an automated gate at the Gate #2 location on the airport primary security line fence for controlling access to the airfield. This gate is primarily used for ground ambulance access to the airports; aircraft maneuvering surface for the transfer of patients on air medevac aircraft. The gate width cannot be reduced below 24' as it is also the alternate access for airfield maintenance equipment. Provide description of the regular maintenance and response to emergency repairs of the opener that could be provided. Repairs or replacement of Gate (#3, 7 ,9, 10, 11,12), North fence-line post(s), installation of bird spikes at West fence-line (runway approach area, spikes provided by owner) See appendix A for map of work areas. The gate/fence openings must be kept secure at all times to ensure wildlife and unauthorized personnel do not access the airfield during construction.
