The work to be completed under this Contract includes but is not limited to: The total removal of the existing building roofing and insulation layers and copings and other roofing components and systems down to the metal deck, and the installation of new roofing and insulation and other roofing components and systems and raising of the parapets as shown on the Contract Drawings, specified herein, and as required for a complete installation. B. The work also includes disconnection and removal, for both disposal and salvage for reinstallation, of all the existing mechanical equipment (RTU's fans, etc.) on the building roof, and the reinstallation of all but one RTU of the existing mechanical equipment as well as the purchase and installation of one new replacement mechanical RTU unit on the new building roofing including all required demolition, new equipment curbs, roof openings and structural support, electrical/fire alarm, plumbing work, (roof drains, condensate piping, gas piping, etc.) and interior suspended ceiling and light fixture alterations required for disconnection and reconnection/connection/modification of mechanical equipment/ductwork/piping etc., and as shown on the Contract Drawings and required for a complete installation.
