Moose Jaw Municipal Airport Authority Airport Summer Maintenance/Mowing Tender The Moose Jaw Municipal Airport Authority (MJMAA) is now accepting price proposals/bids for Summer Maintenance and Mowing operations at the Moose Jaw Municipal Airport. This tender is for a 1 season contract expiring on December 1, 2023 with a contract renewal option for up 1 additional year (summer 2024) at the MJMAAs discretion. Tender submissions for all or any part of the work will be considered. Summer Maintenance Operations include: 1) Mowing all of the public grass areas of the Moose Jaw Airport including around the runway, taxiway, and roadways, which could be completed with larger equipment. 2) Mowing all public space between all hangars and physical infrastructure including signage, runway lighting, and airport lights which could be completed with smaller equipment. 3) Weed whacking to maintain the grass right up to and around infrastructure including signage and lighting etc. 4) Additional grounds care activities that could possibly include tree pruning, grass seeding or fertilizing, weed control spraying, and other general landscaping activities. Quality Control Targets Aviation Standard to be set by Aerodromes Standards and Recommended Practices -TP 312 -5Th Edition. Grass maintenance activities must be done so that minimal or no debris is deposited on the runway/taxiway surface.
