As of July 31, 2024, an architect has been selected and this project is in the design phase. The design renderings will be unveiled to the public on Saturday, September 7th. The final design will be executed following the 9/7 forum. This solicitation is a Request for Proposal (RFP). The City of Lorain is requesting proposals from interested and qualified providers for the following project: Design and Engineering Services For An Integrated Skatepark Facility The City of Lorain is requesting proposals from qualified integrated municipal skatepark development firms for Design and Engineering Services (herein after referred to as "Project") for the Skatepark Project. The intent of the Project is for the Firm to provide complete design serves (including conceptual design, final plans and specifications, engineering cost estimate, and contract documents) for the installation of a skatepark facility at Longfellow Park, intersection of Garfield and Michigan Ave, Lorain, Ohio 44052, to the City of Lorain standards. All qualified firms interested in providing the project should respond with a written proposal to the City of Lorain. Final selection will be made in accordance with the policies and administrative directive of the City of Lorain and other State of Ohio Revised Code Regulations.
