Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Los Altos Hills, California. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for paving for a playground / park / athletic field.

This project consists of constructing a new bio-retention basin, installing new drainage pipes, and drainage inlets at Purissima Park, installing a new drainage inlet and pipe in an existing siltation basin near Story Hill Lane, and improving an existing drainage basin near Oak Park Court. The work includes, but not limited to, mobilization and demobilization; potholing all crossing utilities; repair and/or replacement of pavement marking,; restoring all improvements disturbed by the project at various locations throughout the Town of Los Altos Hills; replacing landscape in kind to the original condition; replacing the asphalt pavement, and replacing all damaged properties caused by this work; and doing all appurtenant work as shown and described in the contract documents. The Engineer's Estimate for this project is $160,000. The base bid work under this Contract is to be completed in THIRTY (30) working days. A Class "A" Contractor's License is required for this work, which constitute a majority of the work. No bid will be accepted from a Contractor who has not been licensed in accordance with Chapter 9, Division 3 of the Business and Professional Code. A Bid Deposit equals to at least ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid shall be placed in the sealed proposal. The Bid Deposit shall be in one of the following forms: cash, cashier's check, or certified check payable to the Town, or bidder's bond in favor of the Town executed by an authorized surety company. Performance guaranty bonds as set forth in Section 4-2 of the Special Provisions will be required from the successful bidder.
