Renovation of a mixed-use development in Augusta, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Augusta Independent Board of Education voted to reject all bids on the project and authorized the Architect to reduce the scope to a basic Boiler replacement within the existing boiler room before rebidding. I anticipate an extended construction schedule to allow installation of the new Boiler next summer, and the revised project will likely bid in late August 23-587 A 5% bid bond or certified check equal to 5% of the bid, including all alternates, is required to be submitted with the official form of proposal. A 100% payment and performance bond shall be provided for the full base bid amount plus any accepted bid alternate(s), upon receipt of a Notice of Award. LYNN ID# 23-587 The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn without the consent of the Owner or forfeit of Bid Security for a period of thirty (30) days subsequent to the date for receipt of bids.
