Renovation of an educational facility in Gilcrest, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
the Weld RE-1 – Valley High School East Gym – Mechanical / Electrical / Pool Equipment Renovation Project (Project) located at 310 9th Street, Gilcrest, CO 80623 The Project generally includes: the replacement two (2) existing, failing gas-fired boilers within the existing mechanical/pool room – feeds central hot water systems in building. Provide glycol feed system. Pool equipment to switch to a sealed tank type filtration system to reduce mechanical room corrosion. New pool equipment will require new structural platform. New pool equipment will require new pumps to feed new tank system. Increase ventilation at boiler room and main electrical room – new roof penetrations and mechanical equipment. Replace three (3) electrical panelboards in the mechanical boiler room. The construction budget is approximately $650,000. The entire project shall achieve Substantial Completion and be operational on or before September 29, 2023.
