Renovation of an educational facility in Mamaroneck, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check payable to Mamaroneck Union Free School District or by a Bid Bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the bid as set forth in the Bid Specifications. Each Bidder shall prepare their bid proposal, along with a bid security, in accordance with the terms and subject to the conditions set forth in the Bid Specifications. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the minimum wage rates to be paid under the contracts This Item describes the Public Work Enforcement Fund (the Fund, PWEF) and its relevance to State agencies and public benefit corporations engaged in construction or reconstruction contracts, maintenance and repair, and announces the recently-enacted increase to the percentage of the dollar value of such contracts that must be deposited into the Fund. This item also describes the roles of the following entities with respect to the Fund: - New York State Department of Labor (DOL), - The Office of the State of Comptroller (OSC), and - State agencies and public benefit corporations.
