Site work for a civil project in Wetaskiwin, Alberta. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and road / highway.
Work shall include the demolition of the existing culvert and the installation of a new bridge culvert over a Tributary to Lloyd Creek, on Range Road 24 northeast of Hoadley (SW 21-45-2-5). The Contractor shall install a new 2.70 m dia. CSP culvert by 31 m invert length as per the Drawings and Section 18 of the Standard Specifications for Bridge Construction. The culvert will be located on a 10-degree RHF skew to the local road, centered at Station 5+550.000. The scope of work for this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: - Traffic accommodation - Site isolation and water accommodation - Fish capture and release - Total suspended solids (TSS) testing - Demolition and disposal of bridge structure - Excavation including supply and placement of geotextile filter fabric - Supply and assembly of culvert materials - Supply and installation of substrate holders and rocky substrate Award is subject to final approval. - Backfill including backfill material testing - Heavy rock riprap erosion protection including geotextile filter fabric - Roadway work - Permanent environmental protection devices
