Renovation of an educational facility in West Windsor, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 3,018-square-foot educational facility.
**As of July 18, 2023, project was awarded to J. H. Williams Enterprises, awarded amount is $1,494,000.00.** All attendees must be mindful of any public health emergency policies and protocols pursuant to the School District. Contractors assume all risks associated with their presence on District premise. Construction workers shall follow recommended precautions to protect themselves and other workers, staff, students, etc. at the project site(s). Bid Documents for the proposed Work are on file at the office of the Architect, Fraytak Veisz Hopkins Duthie, P.C., 1515 Lower Ferry Road, Trenton, NJ 08618, tel. 609.883.7101. To obtain Bid Documents, complete and submit the Bidder Registration form to info@fvhdpc.com All requests for information (RFI) must be submitted in writing by end of business June 8, 2023, and sent by emailing cwoodward@fvhdpc.com, or by faxing to 609-883-2694 or via common carrier to the Architect. All correspondence must include the Architect Project Name and Project Number referenced. The Architect is not responsible for misdirected or misrouted correspondence. . Bid Proposal must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Bid Bond. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a Consent of Surety from a Surety Company stating it will provide each bidder with separate Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the contract sum. If the bid exceeds $20,000.00, bidder must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC), prior to date bids are received. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a Consent of Surety stating it will provide each bidder with separate Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the contract sum per N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-25. Bidding shall be in conformance with the applicable requirements of N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-1 et seq. the "Public School Contracts Law." All bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., Affirmative Action Against Discrimination (N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq.). This project is subject to the NJ State Prevailing Wage Act, N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.27 et seq. All bidders must comply with N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. and N.J.S.A. 10:2-1. An Initial Project Workforce Report will be required from the successful contractor. (Form AA-201). Per N.J.S.A. 52:32-44, contractors and subcontractors must provide a Business Registration Certificate issued prior to the award of contract. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the date set for the opening thereof. The right is reserved to reject all bids or to waive minor informalities in the bidding if it is in the interest of the Owner to do The West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District Board of Education will receive bids for Media Center Renovations at Maurice Hawk Elementary School and Village Elementary School, together with all work incidental thereto, in accordance with the requirements of the drawings and specifications prepared by Fraytak Veisz Hopkins Duthie, P.C.
