Site work for a water / sewer project in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The City of Siloam Springs will accept proposals from qualified firms for construction for the Brentwood Drainage Project. The Brentwood drainage channel begins on the north side of Kenwood Street between South Lincoln Street and U.S. Highway 412. The approximately 20-foot-wide drainage channel continues north for about 1,200 feet past the Brentwood subdivision. The city's Infrastructure Division began this project in 2022 but is not able to continue due to the need to shift resources to street projects that are budgeted for the year. The Infrastructure Division has already completed about 450 feet of dirt work, a large concrete drainage structure, and concrete work on the sloped walls in the channel. o Anticipated start date. o Cut and grade ditch according to plans. o Install 18" footing with #5 rebar 12" on center. o Pour sloped walls according to plans rebar pin to footing, all joints, and put concrete wire in all the wall. o Backfill and grade dirt to match existing ground. o Seed and straw or hydro seed
