Installation of four 4-foot diameter manholes 12 to 16 deep over live 18 sewer lines with adjacent railroad tracks and limited access. Manholes must be built around a sewer line that the contractor must protect in place or bypass sewer flows. Workers required to have railway safety cards and railroad insurance. The Notice to Proceed will be issued after the 21 day submittal period once all submittals have been received and safety and early activity submittals have been approved. 5. CONTRACT TIME. Work shall be finally completed within 48 working days from the date IRED CONTRwhen Contract Time commences to run. 6. REQUIRED CONTRACTORS LICENSE(S). A California A Contractor License is required to Bid this Contract. Joint ventures must secure a joint venture license prior to award of this Contract. 7. PREVAILING WAGE LAWS. The successful Bidder must comply with all prevailing wage laws applicable to the Project, and related requirements contained in the Contract Documents. 8. INSTRUCTIONS. Bidders shall refer to Document 00200 (Instructions to Bidders) for required documents and items to be submitted in sealed envelopes for deposit at the Stockton Port District administration building lobby. 9. SUBSTITUTION OF SECURITIES. Port will permit successful Bidder to substitute securities for retention monies withheld to ensure performance of Contract, as set forth in Document 00680 (Escrow Agreement for Security Deposits in Lieu of Retention), in accordance with California Public Contract Code, Section 22300. By this reference, Document 00680 (Escrow Agreement for Security Deposits in Lieu of Retention) is incorporated in full in this Document 00100.
