Renovation of a municipal facility in Saint Croix Falls, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Polk County reserves the right to retain the deposits of the three (3) lowest bidders for a period not to exceed 30 days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 30 days after the date and time set for the opening of bids. Bidders will be required to provide performance and payment bonds of 100 percent of bid amount. Polk County reserves the right to reject any and all bids. An electronic bid bond shall be uploaded in pdf format via QuestCDN in the amount equal to at least 10 percent of the amount of the total bid, which shall be forfeited to Polk County in the event the successful bidder fails to enter into a Contract. Each General Contractor and any subcontractors are encouraged to schedule a building walkthrough at the project site to become acquainted with the existing facility. Please review the contract documents and become familiar with the responsibility of the contractor as it relates to familiarity of the scope of work and conditions of the existing facility. A set of drawings and specifications will be available at the site for review. Contact Nick Freer at 715.485.9219 to schedule a time. TIME OF COMPLETION A. The undersigned Bidder proposes and agrees hereby to commence the Work of the Contract Documents on a date specified in a written Notice to Proceed to be issued by Architect, and shall fully complete the Work by September 1, 2024
