This Request for Quotations (the RFQ) is an invitation by Sheridan College (Sheridan) to prospective respondents to submit non-binding quotations for Trades and Small Facilities Repairs based on Time and Materials, as further described in Section A of the RFQ Particulars (Appendix D) (the Deliverables). All respondents must have a vendor account and register with Sheridan's portal on the Bonfire electronic bidding platform at https://sheridancollege.bonfirehub.ca. Sheridan intends to select and establish a primary and secondary proponent Vendor of Record (VOR) to provide services for different categories as indicated by the table below. The following table is intended to clarify the scope of work for this RFQ. It is not to be construed as a complete listing of work to be performed during the Agreement. Category 1. Painting - Paint walls, ceiling etc. 2. Dry wall - Repair or install dry wall 3. Flooring - Repair/Install carpet, vinyl, or ceramic tiles 4. Ceiling - Repair/Install ceiling tilework or grid 5. Concrete work - Repair minor indoor/outdoor concrete work or patching 6. Millwork - Modify existing millwork 7. Demolition - General labour for demolition work 8. Moving - General labour for moving furniture or equipment within or between campuses or classrooms or office spaces or ancillary spaces 9. Minor Installation - General labour for mounting equipment to classrooms or office spaces like TV display etc. 10. Door Maintenance - Install, repair or modify door assemblies The term of the contract is to be for a period of one (1) Year, with an option in favour of Sheridan to extend the contract on the same terms and conditions for an additional term of up to 2 x 1-year optional term.
