Renovation of a multi-residential development in Penetanguishene, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.
The Simcoe County Housing Corporation (SCHC) is seeking well qualified contractors to complete has a requirement to upgrade windows and exterior doors at the following locations: 40 unit two-storey residential apartment building, located at 46 Maria St., Penetanguishene, ON. 20 unit two storey residential apartment building, located at 69 Harriet St., Penetanguishene, ON 22 detached family homes located on Yonge St, Borden St, Beauchamps Ct, in Midland , ON 12 detached family homes located on Seventh St, Dominion Ave and William St in Midland , ON SCHC is seeking well qualified contractors to conduct a complete frame out replacement of all apartment suite living room and bedroom windows, hallways, and common area windows. New windows shall be vinyl framed as per the Scope of Work included in this document. All windows must be energy star compliant for Zone 2 or better and meet the minimum ratings specified within. All windows must have self-auto locking latches and 'tenant operational' safety restriction devices limiting the opening to 4". All windows to feature internal 'between the glass' 5/16" flat grilles Documents can be obtained at https://simcoecounty.bidsandtenders.ca/ Award subject to final approval
