Site work for a water / sewer project in Charlottesville, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The water treatment plant Reverse Osmosis (RO) system consists of two CodeLine skids, set up in parallel, Skid No. 1 and Skid No. 2. They were brought online in 2003. The RO skids were designed to process a well water supply containing about 2385 mg/l total dissolved solids (TDS) with a through put of 694 gallons per minute per skid. The RO Membranes are housed in FRP pressure vessels (manufacturer: Pentair Water Treatment). Each pressure vessel holds 7 membrane elements of 8 inches in diameter and 40 inches long. Both RO Skid No. 1 and Skid No. 2 membranes were replaced in 2009. Subsequently, Skid No. 2 membranes were replaced in 2018. The County desires to have the membranes replace in Skid No. 1 and minor repairs made to the RO support structure, valves, and piping : Questions or comments regarding this solicitation shall be directed to the Buyer not later than June 27, 2023; 4:00 P.M.
