Site work and paving for a road / highway in Reno, Nevada. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of August 7, 2023, the project has been awarded, however, a timeline for construction has not been confirmed. Said Proposal shall include all labor, tools, implements, machinery, materials, and any incidentals necessary to complete the work in the manner and time prescribed, and in strict conformity with the Contract Documents to the satisfaction of the City Engineer. In general, the major work items include: The rehabilitation shall include, but is not limited to, the removal and replacement of road pavement section, curb and gutter, sidewalks, driveways, pedestrian ramps, storm drain inlets and pipe, pavement striping, provisions for traffic control for the duration of the project, and other miscellaneous work as outlined in the plans and specifications. The Bidders attention is directed to Nevada Revised Statutes 338.01165, enacted by the Nevada Legislature by passage of Senate Bill No. 207, setting forth the requirements for the use of apprentices on public works which requires a contractor or subcontractor to comply with certain requirements relating to the use of apprentices on public works.
