The City of Pocatello has secured funding for a project which includes eight curb ramp updates on S. 5th Avenue. The project includes all four corners of S. 5th Ave. and E. Wyeth St. and S. 5th Ave. and E. Hayden St. Project scope includes the removal and disposal of existing non-compliant ramps or curb/sidewalk sections, new base preparation, forming/pouring of new curb ramp, curb/gutter, and asphalt patch back per plan. Each curb ramp must be inspected by City staff before asphalt patch back is complete. Contractor is also responsible for traffic control through the duration of the project and must adhere to the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). Pedestrian access must be maintained on one side of the street at all times. Owner on its own initiative may issue Addenda to clarify, correct, supplement, or change the Bidding Documents. 7.02 Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing.
