Site work and paving for a road / highway in Manawa, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Project is part of LRIP and consists of 1.24 mile (6560 feet) of reclaimed pavement, with 4 inches of 1 1/4 inch gravel; Hot Mix Asphalt using 70-Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement (HMAC). Pavement will be placed 20ft 10 inch in width, with a compacted thickness of 2.5". Driveway openings shall have a 1 foot asphalt approach placed at each entrance. Shoulders will be placed 2 ft. wide on each side of the newly paved roadway, using 3/4 " limestone gravel. Driveway approaches shall have 3/4 " gravel placed to blend the driveway into the newly placed shoulder material. Project to be completed in 2024.A performance bond made out to the Town of Little Wolf will be required. Contractor must also provide the Town of Little Wolf a Certificate of Insurance. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to 10% of bid payable to the Town of Little Wolf. The Town of Little Wolf reserved the right to waive any informality or to reject any and all bids and to award the contract to the contractor who in the judgement of the Town of Little Wolf will best serve the interest of the Town of Little Wolf. The letting of the described herein project is subject to the provisions of Section 62.15 and 66.29 Wis Statutes.
